I’ve always loved this movie, not to mention the tale of Robin Hood itself. The sense of adventure and action, the love of a fair maiden (*sigh*), and friends who help you and look out for you. It makes for a great tale. Combine it with anthropomorphic animals, catchy tunes, and goofy humor – what’s not to love?!

They are delightful miscreants and scoundrels, with their animal character choices well placed.
Lastly, a special mention for Maid Marian and her lady-in-waiting, Lady Kluck. These characters and more add their own endearing qualities to this 50-year-old classic.
