Do you like World of Warcraft but feel the new expansions messed up the game. Do you hate paying the monthly fee? Maybe you wish you could be a druid and a warlock in the same toon. Have I got the game for you! It is Ascension. It is literally a classless WoW that is free to download and free to play.
In this game, any toon can have any spell or ability, or talent that any of the classes have. I really have a night elf that has both druid and warlock spells and talents. At level 66 I plan to grab the shadow fiend from the shadow priest tree. My husband is a druid, hunter, mage. He has a bear form with a bear named Yogi for a pet. A player can still only two professions. Right now it is WoW up to Burning Crusade. Later this year the expansion Wrath Of The Lich King is set to drop. There is no specific date of when that I have found.
There are things built into this game that is not found in the regular game. For one, this entire game is PvP. There are two different settings though depending on the risk level you want. If you choose no risk, you don’t lose your gear if someone kills you but it takes longer to acquire good gear. High risk means they can take your gear but you can get good gear faster.
So far I am digging this game. There are great points to it that make it better than WoW. The experience is different and just the overall feeling of the game. Check it out on the Ascension website.
