Graham Cracker Crust:
- 1 1/2 regular or cinnamon graham crackers, finely crushed
- 1/3 cup stick butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- Heat oven to 350*
- Mix crumbs, butter, and sugar.
- Press mixture firmly against bottom and sides of medium muffin cups.
- Bake about 10 minutes or until light brown; cool.
Whipped Cream:
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Beat whipping cream, sugar, and vanilla extract in medium bowl with electric mixer on high speed until stiff.
Strawberry Glaze:
- 1 pint fresh strawberries
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Wash and cut stems of strawberries; roughly chop large berries.
- In a medium saucepan, combine strawberries, sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
- After some, time juice will begin to form. Continue stirring; mashing the berries with a wooden spoon.
- Cook for about 15 minutes, or until sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat. In a blender, puree the sauce. Cool Sauce completely before using it.
How To Build:
- Fill The crusts with whipped cream about 1/4 full.
- Fill the crusts with strawberry glaze until the crusts are half full.
- Alternate between the whipped cream and strawberry glaze one more time; making the strawberry glaze the top layer of the tart.
- Cut small strawberries in half; placing the halves in the center of the tart.
