Synopsis:
It’s a viewing party to watch the recently released VHS movie, Wild Things. The night gets sexy and Anna and Maya try to keep up.

And of course, since it’s a raunchy movie, younger, horny kids, are going to want to watch it. That’s why Brendan decides to have a movie night with his friends. A bunch of people are invited, but our main concerns are Maya, Anna, Brendan, and Sam.
The big issue that arises, is that Anna thinks Brendan is going to kiss her during the movie, and she doesn’t know how she feels about it. This is what usually turned me off during get togethers that involved boys and girls. Too much pressure was put on couples, and no one likes peer pressure. Anna and Maya decide to practice kissing, by kissing Anna’s bed posts, and sadly, I might have done that when I was younger (face palm 🤦🏻♀️). While Anna is dealing with her anxiety about kissing Brendan, Maya all of sudden feels left out, so Anna tells her to ask Sam to go. This doesn’t go as planned, and Sam ends up asking this girl, Jenna, to go. Ouch. It was another blow to Maya’s heart, but I like this will they, won’t they vibe going on between Sam and Maya. It’s adorable that they secretly have crushes on each other, but won’t say anything. They just banter, like normal teenagers, who are scared to confess their feelings.
Movie night commences, and so much goes on, in such a small amount of time. We see that Sam is really getting handsy with Jenna, which I’m pretty sure, is just to make Maya jealous. Maya feels left out, so she tries to hook up with Brendan’s cousin, which doesn’t happen, because he’s too busy staring at Neve Campbell and Denise Richards. And things go terribly for Anna and Brendan. In usual teenage fashion, their kiss was super awkward, and I felt so bad for Anna. It brought me back to those years. You’re feeling super nervous because everyone is talking about you and your boyfriend, and then just having to be intimate with a boyfriend for the first time, is scary. The kissing in itself, made me want to vomit. Brendan basically slobbered all over Anna, and you could tell that she wasn’t happy. It was heart-wrenching, to see that she was upset afterwards, and eventually told Maya what happened, and that she needed to break up with him.
The next day, Maya goes to talk to Sam, and things were different between them. The usual banter was gone, and instead, Sam wanted Maya to actually say something nice to him. What happened next, made me smile from ear to ear. These two actually revealed what they liked about each other. I mean, Maya was half-heartedly complimenting Sam, but Sam did a 180, and completely surprised me. He confessed that Maya was an awesome friend. Who would have thought? On the flip side of all of this, Anna writes a note to Brendan, saying that she wants to break up with him, and who happened to overhear her and Maya talking, but Becca. After a lot of chaos, Brendan ended up dumping Anna first, and that was the end of that. I say thank goodness, because Brendan wasn’t meant for Anna. There are plenty more fish in the sea.
