It’s the second week in October and still no spooky movies. Oh well today’s pick is Die Hard Skyscraper.

Will Sawyer is a former FBI agent and U.S. war veteran who now assesses security for skyscrapers. While he’s on assignment in China, the world’s tallest and safest building catches on fire — and Will gets framed for it. Now a wanted man and on the run, he must find those responsible, clear his name and somehow rescue his family members when they become trapped inside the inferno. – Universal Pictures

We’ve all seen this movie before, it’s called Die Hard. This time it’s Die Hard with one leg and instead of Bruce Willis it’s the Rock. Joking aside let’s be honest a majority of us will see just about anything with the beautiful giant man know as Dwayne Johnson or Uncle DJ to his friends. Uncle DJ is so damn likable and charismatic, no matter the movie if he is in it you know he’s gonna be great and it’ll be watchable. Skyscraper is no different, granted as far as Uncle DJ movies Skyscraper is a breath of fresh air he plays a character like he has never played before. This is very much the Rock’s movie but Neve Campbell gives him a run for his money because she is phenomenal in this movie, heck she’s good in every movie I’m a big Scream guy. Anyways Skyscraper doesn’t bring anything new to the genre but it does bring something new to the Uncle DJ filmography.

I'm a recent college grad trying to make my mark on the world. But I have no idea what I'm doing. Anyways I spend way too much money on movie tickets. I obsessively buy blu-rays and other movie paraphernalia, that's what credit cards are for, right? I like anything superhero related especially the MCU, the DC CW shows and I'll tell you Batman v. Superman wasn't that bad. My ultimate guilty pleasure movie is Daredevil. Yeah the Ben Affleck one. Watch the directors cut, it'll change your life. I have a tendency to have man crushes on men named Chris, especially Chris Pratt. My superhero obsession has also led to a gym obsession, I just want to look as good as Chris Evans in a plain white tee. I have a podcast on iTunes called the Deadlifting Dorks, I think we are really funny.
