The new season of Mystery Science Theater 3000 has a release date, and a fitting one, because it’s Thanksgiving, November 22, 2018, A.K.A. Turkey Day. For those not in the know, Turkey Day is a day where Mystery Science Theater 3000 has a marathon, and it conveniently always lands on American Thanksgiving. This also marks the 30th anniversary of the show, as it premiered Thanksgiving Day, 1988, created by the past and present show runner, Joel Hodgson. The show will return for 6 episodes, and it is said that one of the episodes is for a movie that has come out within the last 10 years. I’m hoping from Neil Breen myself.

When we last left our heroes, Jonah was about to get married to Kinga Forrester, before TV’s Son of TV’s Frank (Max) lets out Reptilicus Metallicus to eat Jonah. Is Jonah dead (no)? Is he going to get replaced (he’s not)? Will they finally get a woman, or a person of color to be the host of the show (I mean, I can dream)? We’ll find out when MST3K comes back November 22, 2018, only on Netflix.

Gobble, Gobble.
