The oceans are stirring once again…
Friends, we are a little over a month away from Pacific Rim: Uprising, so it is time to get amped up.

The first Pacific Rim was released back in 2013. It has been five years since fans were graced with this science fiction world of giant, human-controlled robots fighting an alien threat. If you’re anything like me, you’ve been eagerly awaiting this sequel. Directing this film will be Steven S. DeKnight, who will be making his directorial debut.
Pacific Rim: Uprising is going to take place 10 years after the Battle of the Breach. The oceans have been calm during this time and the Jaeger program as continued to evolve, but the seas are becoming restless.
This film features John Boyega, of Star Wars fame, as Jake Pentecost, son of Stacker Pentecost. Another newcomer to this film is Scott Eastwood, who has starred in Suicide Squad and The Fate of the Furious. Fans will be excited to see both Rinko Kikuchi and Charlie Day reprising their roles for this film.

The trailer leaves fans with a lot of questions. Who opened the breach? Who is driving this mysterious rogue Jaeger? What has happened to Raleigh? Did he ever take Mako on a well-deserved date?
