What You Should Know about the Next Cloverfield Sequel!

Well, first thing first, it’s been delayed… Again.

It was supposed to finally come out in February but for unknown circumstances, it’s been delayed to April 20, 2018, so at least its still coming out this year! So, for now, let me tell you about everything we know so far about this movie. Which is almost next to nothing.

#1: As of now, the film is still titled God Particle, but we’ve yet to see an official trailer that confirms the title that was decided before February 2017. Recently, rumors have been suggesting that it won’t be the official title.

#2: The synopsis of the movie we have currently is very brief. The film follows a team of astronauts who live on a space station, alone, after a scientific experiment gone wrong causes the Earth to disappear.

#3: A very star-studded cast accompanies the film. David Oyelowo (Selma, A United Kingdom) leads other big names such as Elizabeth Debicki (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, The Great Gatsby), Chris O’Dowd (Bridesmaids, This is 40), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Beyond the Lights, Beauty and the Beast), Ziyi Zhang (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, The Grandmaster) and Daniel Brühl (Rush, Captain America: Civil War).

#4: The film’s screenplay was written by Star Trek: Beyond writer, Doug Jung, and 22 Jump Street writer, Oren Uziel. Uziel has confirmed that they wrote the script even before 10 Cloverfield Lane was fully written.

Would you believe me if I told you that’s all the info we have so far? Well, trust me that’s it! And the film is set to come out in three months. But after seeing how successful and great the last two Cloverfield movies turned out, there’s really no doubt this film will disappoint. But we’ll have to see. Cloverfield 3 or God Particle comes out in theaters on April 20, 2018.
