Barry Seal, a TWA pilot, is recruited by the CIA to provide reconnaissance on the burgeoning communist threat in Central America and soon finds himself in charge of one of the biggest covert CIA operations in the history of the United States. The operation spawns the birth of the Medellin cartel and almost brings down the Reagan White House. – Universal Pictures

I might be a bit biased here because I tend to enjoy Tom Cruise films but American Made is a blast. American Made teams up director Doug Liman and Tom Cruise once again, if you haven’t seen Edge of Tomorrow please go ahead and see it. This movie is action packed and funny. American Made is filmed in a documentary style way which certainly makes the fact that it’s a true all the more believable and this story is crazy. This film is technically educational since it’s a true story so why not buy it. You might learn something, like how to smuggle drugs.

Included with the Blu-ray:

  • Blu-ray Disc
  • DVD
  • Digital HD
  • Special Features
    • Deleted Scenes
    • American Storytellers – The American Made filmmakers share their thoughts on the appeal of their film as another important American story to be told.
    • Cruise and Liman: A Conversation – Tom Cruise and Doug Liman discuss the making of American Made.
