Over The Moon For Star Trek Stuff

I grew up with my Dad watching the original Star Trek and thought it was the greatest. Captain Kirk got all the girl. Bones yelled every episode “Damn it Jim, I’m a doctor not a…” and Spock of course had his logic. Then Captain Picard came with the Next Generation , then Deep Space Nine and Captain Sisko, and my favorite Voyager with Captain Janeway. There are also the prequels, such as Enterprise with Captain Archer and the newest one, Discovery with Captain Lorca. More recently movies have been made with Captain Kirk and an alternate timeline so the stories are brand new again. I must say though, that of the original movies, Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home is my favorite.

It is for those of us that love Star Trek that I compiled this gift idea list. Some of the neatest gadgets and nifty standbys are on this list. Check out what I found!

Of course you have to rock the Tee shirts. I found treasures like these various Officers shirts. Which one will you choose?

This desk lamp is so cool and very futuristic looking.

Next I found the classic com badge. It looks just like the real deal and is actually Bluetooth compatible.

You can be the Captain of your own Enterprise with this drone.

I found another communication device that looks just like the original communicators that Kirk and Spock used.

For those of us that want pizza with our marathon sessions of Star Trek you can’t beat this pizza cutter. Plus here’s a cool bottle opener to open our beer to wash down the pizza.

With all the Enterprise gizmos and gadgets let’s shake it up a little and represent Voyager. Here is a friendship necklace with a quote from the 2009 Star Trek movie.

Carry around a Captain’s Log notebook to keep important notes in.

Last but not least, binge watch the all three seasons of the original Star Trek series on Blu Ray.

Let me know in the comments below which are your favorite Trekkie gift ideas!

I am a wife, mother, writer and nerd. My dad cultivated my love of sci-fi as a child and I haven’t looked back since. I love myth and magic. I am an avid reader and love TV and movies. I love the movies Willow and Legend and the Star Trek ones both old and new. Laurell K. Hamilton, who writes the Anita Blake and Merry Gentry series, and Jim Butcher, who writes the Harry Dresden series, are probably my top two favorite authors. I love learning and writing about mythology and there is so much out there to learn, see and imagine. Come fly away with me.
