I know we are under a year away from the premiere of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, but the anticipation is killing me. I am a huge fan of dinosaurs; from dinosaur dresses, a dinosaur purse and a tattoo on the inside of my elbow. My love for these prehistoric cuties knows no bounds. I am currently working on a cosplay of a dinosaur, specifically the pterosaurs from the Doctor Who episode: Dinosaurs on a Spaceship. This love of dinosaurs make me a frequent visitor to Mr. Rex’s Dinosaur Adventures, more commonly known as the Cabazon Dinosaurs. Mr. Rex houses over 50 life-like dinosaurs including a few animatronics ones. There is also a dinosaur you can ride if you’re a child or if the cashier is otherwise occupied. I have such a great time every time I go. You can be a part of a fossil dig, watch a dinosaur video, and even annoy everyone around you by playing the Jurassic Park theme song on repeat. One of the best parts is that you can go inside the humongous T-Rex that is praised as one of America’s most beloved road side attractions. You may recognize Large Marge, the T-Rex, from the cult classic film, Pee-wee’s Big Adventure. Personally, my favorite is the massive Brachiosaurus that I have named Jim. So if you happen to be driving through California and see Cabazon, stop and see these beautiful statues.
