That’s something I never thought I would write, but it’s true: the Twin Peaks panel will be held in Hall H on Friday, July 21st at 2:45pm PST.

Cast members both old and new are scheduled to appear at SDCC and the panel will be moderated by Damon Lindelof, of LOST and The Leftovers fame. The official list of cast members includes Kyle MacLachlan, Tim Roth, Dana Ashbrook, Kimmy Robertson, Matthew Lillard, Everett McGill, James Marshall, Don Murray, and Naomi Watts.
Unfortunately, David Lynch and Mark Frost are absent from the list, which is a shame because it would be a real trip to see Lynch at SDCC. My dream scenario is that Lynch makes a surprise appearance at the panel cosplaying Gordon Cole, and while I doubt it will happen, I can still hope.

Following the hour-long panel, select cast members (not yet announced) will be available for autograph signing at the Entertainment Earth Booth (#2343) from 4:00–5:00pm. There will also be an advanced screening of Part 11 of The Return in Room 6A at 10:00pm. The screening is first-come, first-serve for SDCC badge holders. SDCC-exclusive merch will be available for purchase, including a two-pack of Black Lodge Cooper and Black Lodge Laura Funko Pop! figures.

With The Return already completed and airing, I can’t help but wonder if there will be an announcement at SDCC that this season may not be the end. Could a second season of The Return be in the works? I can’t wait to find out.
