RUGRATS

Who can forget the Rugrats? That show focusing on the
toddlers, Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, Lil and Angelica and their day to day lives.
The show premiered in 1991 on Nickelodeon and aired up until the early 2000s.
It was one of those shows I would always watch after school on weekdays between
homework and supper and I still love it to this day.

THE WILD THORNBERRY’S

Now this is another gem from the 90s and early 2000s. The
show follows 12 year old Eliza Thornberry and her family on their travels
around the world as her parents are documentary filmmakers. But Eliza has a
secret; she has the ability to talk to animals and along with her best friend,
the chimpanzee Darwin, she has many adventures throughout the show’s run. I
recently binged watched this on Netflix and was amazed but how well written and
thought through it was and fun for the whole family. Even the movie that came
after the show was brilliant and I for one would love to see the cartoon
revived.

RECESS
