Arizona, back from getting her daughter, Sofia, settled in New York with Callie and Penny, sees DeLuca for the first time since Alex’s attack. DeLuca is her roommate, and even though she isn’t close to him, she’s disgusted with Alex for doing that to him. (If she thinks she’s disgusted with Alex now, she should have seen DeLuca two episodes ago.) DeLuca asks Arizona if she wants him to move out because of everything that happened. She said she wanted him to stay. Later, Arizona confronts Alex about not answering any of her calls or texts. Alex didn’t want to talk to her because he knew she was mad at him, and that scolding isn’t going to make a difference or change what already happened.

Amelia, still on her newlywed high, is bragging about married sex, which annoys Maggie since she was recently rejected by the guy she likes. Maggie says that Amelia is ‘sex rich,’ and that it isn’t polite to brag in front of people who are ‘sex poor.’ Riggs comes into the room briefly, and it gets awkward. Amelia can tell that she’s out of the sister loop, and Maggie fills her in about her Riggs situation. Amelia can’t wrap her head around Riggs turning Maggie down.

Later, he reminds her that she isn’t a single parent. Tuck’s father, “Mr. Fun Dad” may not be any help in the discipline department, but Tuck has three parents.

“You need a bad cop. Deputize me.”

Meredith just buries the problems, and they always find a way to come back out.

The other daughter, Megan, is freaking out because she was holding her mom’s hand, and the hand squeezed hers. The doctors try to explain to Megan that it’s just residual reflexes. That the muscles were stiffening and having spasms. Then Georgia sits all the way up. After an hour of being dead, she’s suddenly alive. Lazarus syndrome.

Stephanie, Amelia, and Maggie say possible reasons the Lazarus syndrome could have occurred. This has only been reported 38 times since 1982. All Georgia had wanted was to die holding her husband’s hand. She got to do that and then come back to life. Stephanie says “Sorry if I’m amazed.”
