The newest season of every ones favorite monster mash is back tonight and I honestly have no idea what to expect.
I love that feeling.
We are getting quite a few new characters this season which is a nice surprise since the end of season 2 ended with everyone separating across the globe.

One of the characters I’m most excited about meeting is Dr. Henry Jekyll! Yes the one and only Mr. Hyde. He’ll be played by
Shazad Latif. This is amazing. I can only imagine the screwed up scenarios they are going to think up for is monstrous side.

Another new character is Dr. Alexander Sweet, a zoologist, played by Christian Camargo. I literally have no idea what his story is going to be but since he’s around Vanessa I’m just going to assume he’s probably some kind of evil, in love with Vanessa or very quite possibly, both.

And last, but certainly not least
Patti LuPone is coming back! OMG YOU GUYS! Props to the showrunners. You killed the Cutwife last season but did that keep you from bring the actress back? HELL NO. If you can have Patti LuPone on your show, you have Patti LuPone on your show. End of story.
This season she will be playing Dr. Seward. Now those not familiar with Bram Stokers ‘Dracula’ will want to note that Dr. Seward (who was actually a man in the book) was fairly important with the characters’ connection to Renfield.
I don’t want to spoil anything because if you haven’t read it,, I recommend it. Even if you are familiar with the Dracula story. The fact that Seward AND Renfield have been cast for this season tells me one thing though. We are definitely getting back to the vampire side of evil this season and I’M SO EXCITED.
I’m also very curious to see how the introduce Seward. Will Vanessa recognize her as the Cutwife? Does she actually look like that or has Vanessa fallen so deep that she is hallucinating her old mentor’s face?

Lily and Dorian left us last season on the most glorious the gory note. Dancing to a Waltz while trailing blood everywhere after telling Dr. Frankenstein to that he sucks and she hates him. I freakin’ love this two so much more now they’ve dropped all pretenses and just went straight up evil. Still waiting to see how this is going to merge over into the main Vanessa plotline however.

Sembene is still dead and I’m still mad about that. Sir Malcolm has taken his body to Africa to be buried. Hey he can do decent things every once in awhile.

The Creature left last last season on a boat to, Antarctica I think? Not going to lie, I have no idea what is happening with this dude this season.
So are you guys ready for the new season? I am terrified and exhilarated because I know whatever happens, its going to be amazing.
