Okay, so it’s more of a count up, but details, details. Since the announcement was made that Supernatural’s 15th season will be its last, I find myself feeling nostalgic. So, for the next several weeks I’ll be posting and writing about the five (in my opinion) best episodes of each season. This is by no means a definitive list, nor is it in any particular order, but I will fight anyone who tries to argue that these are not the best of a very long, very beautifully painful show.
The show is on hiatus for the holidays, so I thought I’d finish up the lists!
Here are the Top Five Episodes of Season 14:
Absence
The aftermath of yet another loss is brutal. Again.
Peace of Mind
We definitely needed a little more light-heartedness this season, and watching Sam and Cas together is always fun. Plus it’s nice to see the guys goof off a bit.
Moriah
Angry Dean! Concerned Cas! Savior Sam! and the wrath of God. Who knows what the final season has in store, but Moriah certainly set us up for a bit finale!
Mint Condition
It’s so cheesy. SO corny… and that’s what makes it fun.
Lebanon
So I was really concerned they were going to raise John W from the dead only to kill him off again (since JDM still has that other job), but the way this episode was done worked really well. Dean and Sam got to see their dad with their many years of growth behind him, and John gets to see that his sons grew up to be good men.
I have to admit, finding episodes this season was harder, as 14 was… not a fave.
